Special Purna Yoga Guest Teacher
Kristin Erlandson-Ginnivan

In Term 1 we are so lucky to have Kristin Erlandson-Ginnivan joining our Hatha Yoga class on Tuesday 24th February , 7:30pm (Rec Hall). Kristin will take us through a Purna Yoga class, and will also tell us about the Canberra Yoga Conference on March 14th. Kristin runs Tidy Temple Yoga which is the major sponsor of the Canberra Yoga Conference.

Kristin’s teaching style reflects her love of dramatic arts, academics and physical fitness. Her instruction is strongly alignment based (stemming from her Purna training and Ashtanga practice) yet also free-spirited and joyful (drawing from her Baptiste & Kids yoga teacher training).  A natural academic at heart Kristin is constantly deepening her studies of yoga philosophy, mythology, physical anatomy and is particularly interested in the modern applications of yoga/meditation today.

Past Events
Cello Yoga & Meditation Evening + Juicie Lucie

The wonderful cellist David Pereira will be bringing his cello to a special Hatha Yoga class on Tuesday 20th January, 7:30pm (Murrumbateman Recreation Hall). During an extended savasana he will use his cello in a music meditation.

Please stay afterwards for healthy snacks and freshly squeezed juices provided by Juicie Lucie. The cost for the evening is $20/$15 (not including snacks or juices).

About David Pereira:

David is well established as one of Australia's most significant practicing musicians and has an increasingly rare depth and breadth of experience and knowledge - not only as a cellist and cello teacher, but also as a writer on these areas of expertise, and as a composer. Once again a freelance musician, he enjoys the interaction of these branches of music and lately has made an important personal connection with Yoga practice, thereby adding an unexpectedly welcome new dimension to his cello technique.

Limited places, please book ahead on 0407 256 235.

Crystal Sound Therapy

SATURDAY 30th JULY 4:00 - 6:00pm
Murrumbateman Rec Hall
Cost: $35, bookings essential

Barbara Jackson is a qualified Crystal Sound Therapist and Reiki practitioner.

She presents group sound healing sessions at Yoga Centres and Retreats in Sydney, the Illawarra and Regional NSW.  Barbara is also available for individual sound sessions in Corrimal.

Sound Therapy is an ancient healing system that enhances the body and

mind to feel ‘in-tune’ and revitalised.

The pure resonance from the crystal

‘singing’ bowls  flows through the body, so the body’s frequencies can

return to a natural, balanced state, resulting in a deep sense of relaxation.

Because the sound balances the autonomic nervous system, it’s effective for

the relief of stress  anxiety, improved sleeping patterns and release of blocked

energy – a unique experience.
